The Salar Jung Museum is a must-see in the city of Hyderabad.
What makes this museum so special is that it is a lifetime's collection of Mir Yusuf Ali Khan, also known as ‘Salar Jung III’. Prime Minister to the Nizam of Hyderabad between 1911 and 1914, he was a great aesthete and a collector of art and antiquities - assembling a collection of over 50,000 objects in his lifetime.
