How Nomads Shaped World History

People have been on the move through the ages but their role in shaping history has rarely been recorded. On LHI Circle Book Club, British journalist and author Anthony Sattin talks about the impact nomads have had on civilizations, in his latest book Nomads: The Wanderers Who Shaped Our World.

Sattin takes us through the history of nomads as we travel through the empires of the Greeks, Romans, Mongols and more. He reveals the fascinating stories of these wanderers through what they left behind, such as the first stone monuments, the domestication of the horse, and one of the oldest carpets in the world!
