An award winning journalist and author, Mini has been a lifelong student of history. Always fascinated by India and its past, Mini had travelled through the country, by road, by the time she was 20!

It’s her love for the subject and the urge to ‘see history being made’ that compelled Mini to become a journalist. Over the last two decades she has reported on the changing face of Indian politics and business and won numerous awards for her work.

Today she is living her dream through Live History India!

Akshay Chavan

Head of Research & Co-founder

Akshay, is a walking encyclopaedia on Indian History. By his own admission, he had devoured the works of India’s renowned historian Sir Jadunath Sarkar, by the time he was 13! Since then Akshay has scoped out and studied every word written by every historian on India.

For the last 10 years, Akshay ran one of the country's most successful blogs on Indian royalty. This was outside his day job, as a digital marketeer.

Amrusha Chati

Amrusha is a journalist who was driving some of Bloomberg TV India’s marquee feature programs. A literature student and born story teller she has travelled the length and breadth of India, making it her own. Amrusha says it’s her love for contemporary culture, especially the culinary traditions of India that has compelled her to pack in the miles.

A passionate photographer and video journalist, Harsunit is happiest when he is behind the camera! At the forefront of the transition from old television formats to new age digital ones, Harsunit is a master innovator whose works bring Live History India alive.

Krutika Haraniya

Sr Researcher

Krutika is an archaeologist who has done extensive work in the area zooarchaelogy or the study of bones and numismatics. She has been part of the team that carried out excavations at Harappan sites of Rakhigarhi, in Haryana and Talapad, in Odisha. An avid traveller, Krutika has covered many of the historic sites across central India and the Deccan belt. She is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer and is passionate about classical art .

Kritika Sarda

Researcher

Kritika is a trained archaeologist and journalist who is currently working on her PhD in the area of ethnoarchaeology. Her area of study is the cultural history of the Lepcha community in Sikkim. An avid hiker and photographer Kritika has also worked on the Harappan site of Kotada Bhadli, in the Kutch district of Gujarat.
